• Smoking Restrictions On The Campus Of Colorado State University
  • A movement is afoot to institute tighter smoking cigarettes restrictions on the campus of Colorado State University-Pueblo. Here is the university's current policy regarding cheap cigarettes use on campus:

    * There will be no smoking cigarettes, electric discount cigarettes or other tobacco use in any campus buildings, including hallways, classrooms, offices, restrooms, meeting rooms, lobbies, elevators, shops, cafeterias, snack bars, waiting rooms, indoor or outdoor spaces in campus buildings.


    * Smoking and use of any other tobacco products is permitted outside university facilities only if it is 20 feet away from all doorways, windows and ventilations systems to prevent smoke cigarettes from entering enclosed buildings and facilities.


    * The interior courtyard of the Art/Music Building and the access tunnel thereto and the areas under the Library Wing up to the entrance to the library are specifically designated as non-smoking cigarettes areas.


    * Smoking is not permitted within 20 feet of any play area at the Child Care Center.


    * There will be no sale of tobacco products in any CSU-Pueblo building or anywhere on the CSU-Pueblo campus.


    * The distribution by tobacco companies of free tobacco products or coupons for free or discounted tobacco product is prohibited on the CSU-Pueblo campus.


    * All members of the university community are responsible for compliance with this policy.
